Sally Sue’s Coffee Beans focuses on roasting sustainably farmed single origin coffee, while supporting our community. Our namesake is derived from our matriarch Sally Sue herself.
We sample all of our coffees to make sure they meet the Sally Sue's standard for quality from each batch to ensure are products are great tasting and properly roasted.

Our Story

2010
The Beginning
Like many other great businesses, Sally Sue's Coffee started in a garage. Not just any garage, but Sally Sue's garage, where we added a small addition to begin our coffee roasting journey. -
2012
First Roastery
Our founder began with an old rotisserie oven with a hole cut perfectly to tack weld a heat gun. He then created a rapid cooling system and truly set out on his journey as a local coffee roaster. -
2015
Expansion
We quickly outgrew our tiny garage roasting facility and moved onto a larger building with a small commercial kitchen. Later on, we would purchase and build a 2,700 sq foot roasting facility in Magnolia, IL. -
2018
New Location
After a successful few years in Central Illinois, Sally Sue's joined forces with Thomas Coffee and relocated to Saint Louis, MO. (Don't worry - we are still a local favorite in Central IL, just roasting out of St. Louis!).
